Gone are the days when teachers have to purchase supplies for students to vividly experience and understand science concepts. At ASSET's Materials Support Center, materials are stored, refurbished and shipped directly to classrooms, giving teachers the necessary materials to teach hands-on science - so they can focus on continuously improving teaching and student learning.
Every module contains enough materials and equipment for 30 students to conduct science investigations on a 9-12 week science unit and are:
- Aligned with national and state science education standards
- Developed using a rigorous research and development process
- Assessed and reviewed by master teachers, scientists and engineers
- Designed to enable students to apply newly learned concepts and skills to their everyday lives.
Each supplier offers approximately four module titles per grade level.
